Timeline
The idea took shape in September 2014 when Mr Ketankumar Vekariya identified a gap: quality driven businesses were not getting the recognition they deserved. R&D for the India 5000 concept began immediately.
The domain was registered in November and by December the methodology and eligibility criteria were defined.
2015 was the year India 5000 moved from concept to construction. Work began on the website structure, design and content planning in June. By September a rough business plan had been developed.
The logo process started in November and after several concepts and iterations the first logo was finalised in December.

2016 was the year India 5000 came to life. Website development began in January with content and graphics following shortly after. TQV Private Limited joined as Knowledge Partner in April, the same month the award trophy design process began.
By May the trophy was finalised, a demo had been produced and team recruitment was underway. The logo was redesigned and the certificate design completed by June. In December, the first India 5000 winners list was published on india5000.com.
