About INDIA 5000

Business excellence awards have existed globally for decades. The well known ones carry a lot of prestige but they come with processes and costs that only large corporations can realistically manage.

What was missing was a platform built specifically for the businesses that form the real backbone of the Indian economy: the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that work hard, deliver quality and grow consistently.

INDIA 5000 National Quality Awards and List was created with them in mind.

Initiated and organised by Benchmark Trust and TQV Private Limited, INDIA 5000 is a national quality awards and research platform dedicated to identifying and recognising India’s 5000 best businesses for quality output. We evaluate quality across three areas: products, services and management. Any business operating in India, regardless of its size or industry, can apply.

The INDIA 5000 list is published on India5000.com every year. For the businesses on it, it serves as a verified national recognition that tells clients, partners and the industry one thing clearly: this business delivers quality.

We have been building this list since 2016.

A small business delivering exceptional quality and a large one doing the same deserve equal recognition. INDIA 5000 was built on that belief and every edition of the list reflects it.

We have been doing this since 2016. The process has not changed because it does not need to. Consistency is what gives the INDIA 5000 recognition its weight.
