Digant Sompura is a senior journalist, political analyst and public affairs professional with an extensive career spanning media, diplomacy and business advocacy. Based in Ahmedabad, he has worked across some of the most prominent media and institutional platforms in India and internationally.
He served as Former Economy Political Advisor to the British Deputy High Commission in Gujarat, a role that placed him at the intersection of international trade, economic policy and bilateral relations. Alongside this, he has held editorial roles as Political Editor at Mantavya News Channel and Consulting Editor at News India Times Group in the United States, reflecting a career with both domestic and international reach.
On the institutional side, Digant served as Chairman of the Non Resident Gujarati Committee at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supported by the Government of Gujarat, and as a Member of the Foreign Trade Committee at GCCI during 2018 and 2019. He is also the Convenor of the BJP’s Foreign Affairs Department, actively working to strengthen ties between Indian diaspora communities globally and their home country.
