They See What Others Miss. Assessment Is an Art

Ketankumar Vekariya is the Managing Director of TQV Private Limited and the founder of INDIA 5000 National Quality Awards and List. His career spans over two decades in quality management and lead auditing, working with businesses across industries to help them build, implement and maintain quality systems that actually work.

It was this experience that gave him a clear view of a gap in the market. Quality driven businesses, particularly smaller ones, had no credible national platform to showcase their work or get recognised for it. In 2014, he set out to build one. What started as a concept became INDIA 5000, now one of India’s most recognised privately organised business awards, with thousands of businesses recognised across multiple categories over the past decade.

Alongside leading TQV Private Limited and INDIA 5000, Ketan serves as Chairman of the Jury for the awards, as a Committee Member for ISO/WS ESG/WG 1 working on the global framework for implementing ESG principles, and as Editor of Udyamee India, a business magazine for the entrepreneurial community.
